Why does my app crash when I try to login?
It’s not uncommon for users to experience app crashes due to several factors, including outdated app versions, network issues, or device compatibility.
If you have recently downloaded or updated the ROAMpay X5 app, you may encounter crashes when trying to log in. This issue may be related to permission limitations surrounding Bluetooth connectivity, which is essential for the app to function correctly with your mobile terminal device.
Must know:
- The instructions provided below are specifically for Android devices.
- On your device, open the Settings app.
- Scroll down and tap on Apps.
- Find and tap on ROAMpay X5. If you can’t find it, be sure to tap on See all Apps to view the complete list, then select ROAMpay X5.
- Tap on the Permissions option.
- Under the section labeled Not allowed, tap on Nearby devices.
- Then, select Allow to grant the necessary permission
Once you have completed these steps, try to open the ROAMpay X5 app again, and you should be able to log in successfully.
Good to know:
- If your device already had the Nearby Devices permission set to allow, but you’re still experiencing crashes, you may need to uninstall the app and then reinstall it to resolve any underlying issues.
